| Amsonia hubrichtii "The Willow Leaf Blue Star" is a great native
perennial that sports the laciest most thread-like foliage. It grows
into a 3 ft. x 3ft dense mass, much like a small shrub. The narrow
needle like leaves that line the stems are surprisingly soft as silk to
the touch. This Blue Star adds a billowy fine textured element to the
landscape. We Imagine it fitting into a Mediterranean Villa. Has pretty
light blue star shaped flowers in May. Finally the brilliant golden
yellow foliage in the Fall is a spectacle second to none in the garden
world. It takes a few years to fill out, but then is very very long
lived. (perhaps generational ? ) Grows in sun to partial shade in any
average soil and is quite drought tolerant once established. Has no
insect or pest problems and is very deer resistant. Looks amazing in
mass and never needs dividing. makes an awesome backdrop for Fall
blooming perennials such as garden mums and sedums A simply perfect
flower that belongs in every ones garden ! (Our Personal Favorite )

Gaillardia x grandiflora "Oranges and Lemons" is an exquisite new color form of this dependable plant. Each bloom is about 2 inches wide
with bright tangerine petals tipped in yellow and surrounding a saucy orange and yellow central cone. The orange and yellow color
combination, is softer then other Gaillardias, making it easier to incorporate into the landscape or containers. She is the most spectacularly
prolific blooming Gaillardia ever! A single plant can boast as many as 75 flowers at once. If you multiply that by the early summer to
mid - fall bloom period, you'll going to be thrilled with hundreds upon hundreds of flowers from this DYNAMO ! The bushy upright
18 inch high plants, are the perfect size for the middle of the perennial border. The amazing long flowering period, makes this perennial
